MSB Estudi Taller D’arquitectura I Disseny
"The Iron’s skin" is a collection of pieces created from the past two years by MSB estudi-taller near Olot, Girona in Spain. For its expression, these pieces are placed between design and sculpture, between functionality and contemplation. Born to propose solutions in architecture, or alone as a research process of new forms and construction systems.
MSB, is a path, a story where the essence is creativity, where the work are the projects, the reflections, the experimentation.... always connected to the world of architecture, interiors, design… communication. It’s not walk for walk; the goal is to develop projects with personality, rigor... Evolve concepts and discover new elements that every time accompanies us to go further. Essentiality is one of the values that mark the work and research within MSB. The purification of form, construction systems, materials, until we reach items that stand out for their naturalness, tranquility, serenity ... essentiality.
They bring the material, from a formal point of view, to limit of their proportions, this makes this piece take a personality linked to the material that is made of. Sincerity between material and shape. This material is the specially selected for each piece with the desire to be unique. This reinforces the concept of crafts over the industrialization.
